From New York Times bestselling author Clare Mackintosh comes a claustrophobic thriller set over 20 hours on-board the inaugural nonstop flight from London to Sydney. Someone needs Mina's assistance and knows exactly how to make her comply. When one passenger is killed and then another, Mina knows she must act. Fast paced psychological thriller!

This book has a few things going on that kept you wondering, the build up was a bit slow. Once things started humming this book was hard to put down. The thriller has multiple story lines intertwined within it and they are broken up by chapters. And what a twisty ending! That was very cool!!

Amazing Thriller

Absolutely loved this book! Right after getting through the introductory stage, it goes straight to 100 and stays there until the end. And the end! Wow, didn't see it coming. The writing style was great and easy to read despite having multiple points of view. If you're looking for something that will have you on the edge of your seat, this is it!

GREAT twisty thriller

This was such a fast paced, interesting read. I loved how the author kept you guessing and looped in multiple storylines for who could have been responsible. I truly think this is a great thriller and would be amazing for someone that needs a thriller palate cleanser. I did audio and had to slow it down a bit because the narrator had a pretty strong accent but that's a me problem, nothing about the book.

Intriguing but Patchy

The story's plot was fascinating and wonderful to see unfold on the pages. I wanted to know more after most chapters but, it wasn't something I could just read in one sitting. I had to read a bit and then put it down because I just couldn't read anymore. With that being said the author does a great job of keeping the twist coming and adding layers to the characters. I had an idea in my head for how this story would end and it took a totally different turn. At the moment I am not a fan of the ending just with how the author was building the story but, I would still recommend it for others to read.

Interesting but…

Book was interesting. Hard to follow the main characters then and now, plus all the plane passengers. Worth reading til the last few chapters. Became unrealistic of a child that age. Decided to just trash it rather than donate.

A taut, tense thriller

A taut, tense thriller. My heart was in my throat as I greedily flipped pages to discover the next twist in the tale. The shocking ending was the icing on this criminally satisfying cake.

A page turner

Mina wanted to badly to be one of the flight crew on the inaugural flight of World Airlines Flight 79 London to Sydney. She was not scheduled to be one of the flight crew but she swapped with someone who was supposed to be. She is looking forward to a week away from her husband Adam and their daughter Sophia. Mina and Adam recently started living apart. Their nanny Katya came home all upset and started packing for her return to Ukraine and when Mina asked her about she said ask him meaning Adam. Mina kicked him out because she thought he was having a affair with Katya but she was wrong about what happened. This flight is just what Mina needs a week away by herself. The flight is having problems, the Wi-Fi is not working passengers are upset about it. Than a passenger dies and while Mina is looking through his wallet out falls a picture of her daughter Sophia. She does not know this man and does not understand why he has a picture of her daughter. Than she is given a envelope by another member of the flight crew with her name on and when she opens the envelope there is a note telling her to follow the instructions to save her daughter life. She has a decision to make follow the instructions she saves Sophia if not she kills her. But if she follows the instructions she is letting the plane get hijack and who knows what will happen. I had a hard time putting this one down. This is a mystery thriller that has chapters about Mina, Adam and passengers on the plane. The ending was something that I did not expect. I can see this as a mini series or movie.
