    Softness comes after a few washes, retains heat.

    These high thread count products take a few washes to soften up. The density of fibers per inch hold heat in very well. My last Hotel Collection duvet with 800 TC has lasted 18 years and is still as comfy as can be. The edges are really frayed on those so I've invested in this cover with the knowledge it will last. The zippers on HC pretty good but I've certainly had issues with them bending in the wash and difficulty getting them to work. I've only had one set of HC pillow cases where the zippers really broke.

    Luxurious, beautiful, Super soft and elegant

    I was able to purchase this set on sale. I’ve never had 1000 thread count of any bedding. I’m so happy I decided to purchase it. It’s beautiful, soft and elegant. The stitching around to entire base increase the luxurious look. My husband who can careless said it’s really beautiful and soft too. What a lovely comment from him. I loved the look so much that I bought one for my guest bedroom as well. Sheer beauty throughout my home. I highly recommend it. I did read the reviews on the wrinkles after a wash. I just purchased them so I can’t review on how wrinkled it gets after washing it. Wrinkles don’t scare me at all. I know how to iron. But, what I can say is that if you’re like me and like a sale on quality bedding without the cost it’s for you.

    Just ok

    Very thick material and could be softer. May get better with several washes. Good quality though due to the thickness of the fabric. Because of this comes out of the dryer super wrinkled and you have to iron it as they won't come out otherwise. I don't think it's worth the amount of money spent.

    Sturdy and Beautiful

    I use these shams as pillow cases, sleeping on them every night. They wash up perfectly, ready for the next week. Use cool water wash and low temp dry. Soft, yet thick, strong cotton! No need for all those extra decorator pillows! Macy's has good sale prices on Hotel Collection.
