New Believer in Hotel Collection Products
While this was my first experience with Hotel Collection products, it will certainly not be my last! My initial impression of the simple elegance of the Alabaster Duvet Cover was only reinforced by a more thorough inspection and use. By combining several shades of creamy white in a geometric pattern with the utilization of textural variations, a classic look of stylish simplicity is created. The fabric is textured polyester, rayon, and cotton for the top of the cover, while the bottom is a cotton/polyester blend that feels silky to the touch. The color is neutral enough to allow flexibility in whether you would like to go with the coordinating shams, pillows, etc. in the collection’s Alabaster line or choose accessories in another color for a livelier look. After having guests in our home at Thanksgiving, I found the style of the duvet cover appealed to a variety of age groups-from my twenty two year old daughter to those in their 60’s. While I have had very frustrating experiences trying to place duvet covers in the past, Hotel Collection’s duvet cover has been designed to ease the process and make it fairly simple to accomplish, even for someone as awkward with doing this as I am. The lined zipper around the edge allows the zipper to open and close without catching, as well as prevents the zipper from snagging on other bedding items. It will be relatively simple to remove for washing, as well as changing the insert to allow for flexibility in seasonal temperatures. I have the Full/Queen size and tried both sizes on two different bedrooms within my household. Initially, I tested it on the full bed in my guest bedroom. While it fit and would create an elegant look for my guests in that room, I thought the most effective utilization was on the queen bed in our master bedroom. Besides deciding I liked this product too much to limit its use to occasional guests, I also found that I prefer the fit of the duvet cover on the queen duvet. There were several inches of extra fabric that extended past the duvet (about 2 ½ inches each side) on the double bed duvet, while it fit perfectly on the queen bed duvet. I was initially worried about the lighter color, but the duvet cover is machine washable. Since it is fairly easy to remove, the ease of cleaning alleviates any fears regarding the color. In fact, I am considering ordering several for the adult bedrooms of a rental condo we have at the ocean. I think it will create a favorable impression for our guests, while also being easy to maintain. The classic elegant appearance of this product combined with its functionality and quality makes me look forward to exploring more Hotel Collection products in the future.
Elegant Find!
This duvet cover is absolutely elegant, smooth to the touch, and true to size but it completely covered my king size bed with lots of inches to spare around, considering that it is a full/queen size. Best feature? It's cushiony feel comfort - like you are wrapped in clouds! I love it.
Great duvet cover
This is the first time there I Own a duvet, And im really impressed It’s a really nice classy and elegant duvet, Nice fabric and color It give another look to my bed, my husband he’s the type a guy Who doesn’t know when I buying new things for our house, but the first time when I put the duvet cover in to our bed he Notice right away And he you give me a really good complement, my bed it’s a California king size, i’m fortunately they didn’t have that in my bed size so I order a king size and I am really happy because it’s fits my bed very well, so my room looks even better now, so if someone wants on update in your bedroom, I’ll recommend to buy a duvet cover bed for your bed,
High quality duvet cover
This is high quality duvet cover. The color is gorgeous. Makes your bed look very elegant and classy. Material is very comfortable. It's a true fit to Queen size.
Duvet
This well made duvet cover is patterned on the top side and smooth on the underside. I am not usually a fan of duvet covers but this cover was ccnstructed perfectly to keep the inner comforter in place without “bunching” up inside. The pattern is a bit dated in style but the Jacquard texture gives the duvet depth. Overall this is a very nice duvet cover.
Super Comfy!
This duvet is absolutely beautiful. The white on white geometric pattern is very classy! It's lightweight and cool to the touch to sleep under. I live in Florida so I put a thin duvet inside of it, even for winter that's more than enough here. If you live in a colder climate you want to put a thicker duvet in it for warmth. The zipper closure makes it super easy to work with. This duvet cover is not like others. Others I've had allow the duvet to slip and slide on the inside and they get bunched up in one corner, not this one!. The duvet stayed flat in this all night. Pros: really pretty, classy pattern, stays flat, easy to put duvet inside Cons: though the color is pretty I DO NOT recommend it for kids rooms or if you have pets that sleep on the bed, the full/queen size is really too big for a full bed (too much overhang at bottom and on sides).
