The NICOLETTE 4 piece comforter set includes one luxury quilted comforter which is smooth to the touch and finished with a 0.25" satin cord. The comforter combines a beautiful blue colored stria with a dramatic framed medallion. The comforter is made with a one of a kind puff jacquard technique which adds unique dimension to the top of the bed. It is finished with circle quilt stitching and the bedskirt is tailored with corner kick pleats made from the coordinating blue colored stria satin fabric. The shams are carefully cut and sewn to ensure that the floral medallions of the main fabric are perfectly centered on each. Both are finished with solid blue colored reverses, satin cording and hidden zippers.

Beautiful and very blue

So glad I found this alternate color to the gold and taupe options for this beautiful bedding. Macy’s had the best price. Some other stores list this as “Nadine” FYI. It is muted, although very blue because the color and design is continuous and unbroken, styling looks best as pictured with sheets showing. Purchased one matching pillow and may get another but will style with cream/tan pillows and curtains to break up the color. Those pictured are just grabbed to visualize the effect and will be replaced. The pearl color of the raised stitching is more blue/green than I expected, being effected by all the blue and it has the effect of casting a greenish tint to the top, the reverse is a dark gray/blue and doesn’t have the green effect. The striping is not distracting nor very noticeable. It is breathable, medium/heavy and thicker than I expected without being too heavy.
