Smooth

This cutting board hasn't cracked or split or warped on me. Its smooth and stays smooth. It's heavier than some of the other boards, but it'll last longer and holds up really well. It definitely won't break on me.

Who knew a cutting board could be so beautiful

I have done exactly as the instuctions stated and made sure that this board has stayed oiled. I have not used it for meat, fish, or poultry yet. I am going to wait until i feel as if it's totally sealed and seasoned well. I have not used any soap or water on the board. I have simply wiped it off and then oiled again. I have been oiling it at least weekly, more if i use it. I love the board and have been looking at other products they have!

Best cutting board

This is by far one of the best cutting boards I have owned. It’s a great size for cutting vegetables, fruits, any other food prep. We keep ours out on the counter all the time. It looks nice. The dark walnut has a great look in our kitchen but would easily fit with a lot of kitchen styles currently. We oiled it when we first got it and have reapplied as needed. Easy to care for and maintenance.

Amazing Cutting Board!

I absolutely LOVE my 4-Cooks American Black Walnut cutting board! I’ve cut veggies on it and also used it as a Charcuterie board because it’s just so beautiful. It fit lots of yummy salami, cheeses, nuts and dried fruits. My Mother was so impressed when she came over for brunch. It’s a great size and is thick and sturdy. The color is amazing, I can’t get enough of the beautiful Black Walnut color. I want to buy another one for my meat. I have already recommended it to my Friends and family.

Love the quality!!

I got the 4- Cooks American Black Walnut cutting board and it's my favorite! From the moment I took it from the package you can tell it's quality. The indents as handles are just right. It's very sturdy but not overly heavy. I follow the instructions not to let water or wet meat sit on it to preserve the life of the board. It has specific care instructions but they are not difficult or tedious. I am very happy with the 4-Cooks American Black Walnut cutting board and will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Great quality, high maintenance

This is a really nice and good quality cutting board. It does require care and maintenance. There is an oil and board cream that needs to be used as directed if you want your board to last for a long time. This will prevent cracking and discoloration. It is very sturdy and an overall great quality board. It is "thirsty" and will need moisturized frequently. This board is more high maintenance than some, but if properly cared for will last for a very long time.

Godfather

This new BOOS BLOCKS® - 4-COOKS American Black Walnut Cutting Board is the godfather of all cutting boards! It is made incredibly well and so classy looking. It's made of Edge Grain Construction and the finish is American Black Walnut. I feel so sassy using it. It's covered with a Boos Block Cream with beeswax finish making things stick to the board and not slide all over. I love that it's safe for all food preparation. I always wonder about the plastic cutting boards. Its supper easy to carry as it has cut outs for your fingers, allowing a much better grip than most. I have found that this BOOS BLOCKS® - 4-COOKS American Black Walnut Cutting Board is much gentler on my knives too, making this my favorite board. When I cut a slab of meat on it it stays in one place and I am able to get a much straighter, better looking cut.
