The coat I have searched for.

I love this coat so much. It is an amazing quality. I find the stitching so pretty. It’s definitely a timeless piece that is a must in any closet. I just bought a pair of Frye boots to wear with it today and I can’t wait! This coat looks like it should be double the price. It makes me wonder if all of Jones NY products have such the quality that this coat has

Nice Leather Jacket

I loved the color of this jacket and the material is great; however I returned it because it did not flatter. Purchased a button style instead.

I do not like invisible closing buttons

Before I bought the Jones of New York leather trench I read the reviews so I want to help others by giving my 3 stars rating. I find the coat a little heavy and I do not like invisible buttons because it is hard to close and when you bend those buttons easily open. I think this kind of leather coat should have regular buttons or simply traditional zipper. I would give 4 stars if it had regular traditional buttons or zipper. Again the coat is not ugly but those invisible buttons make hard to close and keep it close .

VERY CLASSY COAT

Bought this in black. Lovely leather trench. The leather is quite soft. Like other reviewers, I found the coat runs large, but that is perfect for me as I plan to wear it over a blazer or suit jacket. Haven't had the issue with the tier not staying closed. I'm wondering if the leather is different on the black and brown versions. The black leather is quite soft.

Stunning Leather Belted Trench Coat

This is a stunning lamb leather trench coat. It is very well made. The leather is soft, and it is very comfortable. It has nice lining on the inside. It even has an inside pocket! I love the sleek look and style of this coat with the hidden snaps on the inside. I like to tie my belt in a knot in the back of the coat and wear it that way. It looks cool. It is a good cold weather coat. I ordered it in an XL (42" chest,) and it fits me perfectly. I'm 5' 2" and it hits me right at knee. I just love it in black. I am totally happy with my purchase.

Not for me

The leather is not as soft as it appears in the photo. As mentioned in another review, it runs large and the belt doesn’t stay tied because the leather isn’t that soft and the belt is big. Cognac looks nice in the photo nut old fashioned in person. Needless to say, I returned it. Return was flawless.

Good Quality Coat

The coat is beautiful. I purchased the cognac color. It has a slightly heavy weight, so can be worn in colder weather. It is very comfortable, but has a few issues: the belt is too thick and will not stay tied, the top snap broke after two wearings, and it runs large. I have only worn it a few times, but have received many compliments. It is an expensive coat and I was happy to get it on sale for well over $200 off.
