Fits well and is comfortable.

It was comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. Only problem is it does get quite wrinkly after being washed and dried but it was the color and style I needed for a top.

Nice but . . . Here's What You Need to Know

I have been wearing these skorts for years and have been through several modifications. On the bright side, the cotton skirt part is a nice fabric. I bought khaki, white, and olive, and all the colors are good. The waistband stretches which is comfortable and they have washed well. This version has side pockets but they eliminated the rear pockets. Consequently, they look more like a slim skirt than ever. They fit well, but could be about an inch shorter in the petite. Still very ladylike and versatile. However, as noted in one of the other reviews, the shorts portion is now polyester. So far, it has been cool here, but I have a bad feeling that these are going to be hot when the temperature rises and humidity sets in. I loved these because they were 100% cotton! I liked the shorts underneath because they covered everything if the skirt flipped up or I bent over. The fabric on the skort part looks like cheap underwear, defeating the purpose wearing a skort.

WARNING! Skorts arrived w/polyester under shorts

The fabric for the under shorts is 92% polyester and 8% spandex. Only the body of the skort is 98% cotton! The website fabric description does not mention the polyester all. I have been buying these skorts for years because of the high cotton fabric content because I live in Texas and need a cool and breathable fabric to be comfortable. But not any more! Wah!!!
