save your money

I have bought Karen Scott items in the past, but not for a while. I was completely disappointed in this blouse. I don't think they could have found cheaper fabric if they tried. The first time I washed it (by hand) it started to fall apart. The fabric developed all kinds of snags and pulls in it with no assistance whatsoever from me. Don't think I will ever wear it again, and I'm not sure it is suitable for donation bin!

Cute, but tight in the hips

I have 7 of the Karen Scott blouses. I have this one in blue. I am usually a 1X, but find all of this cut nice in the shoulder, the arms are a little long and the hips are always tighter than I would like. Just another inch and I could button the bottom button and have room for it to glide. It is too tight this way so I have to go to 2X. Then it is big everywhere and can only be worn as a gardening shirt. It does not shrink and I am 5'5" and a G cup. I just wish they had that fold or a ruffle to add a little more fabric in the back.

I usually refrain from buying Karen Scott because it is always just a little too small or a little too short. I will see how this blouse works.
