Better Suited to a Thinner Body Type
So I have to say this jacket looks nice on the hanger but if you’re a bit of a heavier set person it’s not super flattering on the body, that said the material is nice quality and feels pretty durable, so if you try it on in a store or something and it looks good on you, I’d say go for it, or if you’re a thinner person you could probably call it a safe bet to order it online.

A stylish piece, but not perfect
As someone who typically wears between a medium and large (I'm 5'7" and 185 pounds), I opted for the large in this jacket. While it works, I suspect a medium would have provided a more tailored fit. Visually, this jacket really hits the mark. The olive drab color combined with the diamond weave quilting and snap flap hand pockets gives it a fantastic retro vibe. The build quality is excellent. I couldn't find any loose threads or uneven stitching, indicating careful construction. The zipper operates smoothly and stops comfortably below the collar, preventing any beard irritation. A thoughtful addition is the hanging chain inside the jacket. The stretchy knit polyester/elastane blend used for the hem, wrists, and collar effectively seals in warmth and keeps out the cold. However, it's worth noting that this material can snag on Velcro over time, potentially leading to wear. The jacket offers three pockets: two generously sized hand pockets that can easily accommodate winter gloves and other essentials, and a smaller inner pocket on the left side, parallel to the zipper. All three pockets are secured with a single snap, so it's wise to be mindful of smaller items that might slip out. Temperature comfort is subjective, but for me, wearing just a T-shirt underneath, this jacket felt comfortable in the 32-50°F range. The wind resistance of the main fabric is quite good, a feature enhanced by the snug knit hem, collar, and cuffs. While the main material offers decent water resistance, the ribbed knit sections absorb moisture immediately. Breathability, however, isn't a strong suit. I found that the jacket became quite sweaty above 50°F, even when unzipped. Overall, I find this jacket quite appealing in terms of style. While its utility might be somewhat limited by the breathability issue, it's a quite stylish piece.

This piece is very well made and runs slightly larger than expected. I have a V-taper body, and while there’s quite a bit of room around the abs, the fit is perfect in the upper body—especially through the shoulders. The overall construction feels solid and high-quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with an athletic build looking for both comfort and style!
