Beautiful chameleon

The color of the Denby Kiln Green bowls and plates that I ordered is hard to describe. Green is not the main color that comes to mind, and soft shades of grey and blue seem to be more prominent. Depending on the light, the color seems to shift. Either way, it's a beautifully understated blend of muted natural colors, and a pleasant backdrop to my food. I've attached two photos of the same bowl in the same position - one taken with the flash on, and the other with indoor lighting. The subtle green color is more apparent in the photo with the flash on. The packaging was very well done so all pieces received were undamaged. Time will tell how well they hold up in terms of scratches, chips, etc. but so far I'm happy with the quality.
