Button clasp un-threaded, straps always slip

I’ve used this bag for 10 months. Sadly, the thread that holds the button clasp has unthreaded. Eventually, I won’t be able to secure the top flap of the bag. Additionally, I always seem to have to adjust the strap length. I like to wear the straps at the shortest setting, but the straps self-lengthens, and I’m always having to adjust the straps multiple times a day.

Go To Bag for Work and Travel

This is my go to bag as it is large enough to hold everything including my smaller purse. I wish it wasn’t so pricey. The material quality has suffered since my last purchase. Not as soft.

Backpack

This is the 3rd kipplinger back pack I've bought in the last 4 years. I Really like it b/c it's light weight and has lots of compartments. However, the 1st one had a zipper that went both ways in the big compartment. In addition it had an inside chain to hook your keys. The third one I just purchased had neither of these. I miss them.
