Great coverage, dries quick, but pocket gaps

I love these,, They cover the thighs, have pockets, great prints, panty fits well and does not bind, BUT, you need to make them for women with hips. The pockets gap and the only way to get the skort to look right is to keep a longer, snug top over it. I so want to order this style in 10 more prints but the hip gap is the issue (I'm a pattern maker by the way so understand garment construction) and reading other's reviews that is the issue. I thought Land's End was made for the average (not a dress form) woman. I'm not odd shaped, I just have hips...By the way, the shorts are the same, well, actually worse so I sent those back.

The Attached Boyshorts - Yuck!

I am a LE swimsuit devotee and have been for years. I have had all sorts of styles of tops and bottoms and never had a piece that I didn’t like…until now. I can’t stand the boyshorts in this skirt. The worst part is the crotch runs sideways (yes, you read that correctly) from side to side versus front to back, which causes it to um, irritate the region more than a normal bottom would. The boy short length is also just too short to do any good. I’d rather just have an attached panty like the shorts in this style have. Then you have a normal liner and no ride up. Love the the print, love the pockets, hate the boyshorts. Contemplating cutting them out and just wearing one of my LE brief type bottoms with it instead.

Good fit and comfortable

Bought this for a trip to Angkor Wat where it is hot and humid. Haven’t tried it in that environ yet but so far, it is comfortable and a good fit. Hope it works for the for sun protection as claimed.
