Two tone gold ring fading to one tone

I purchased this wedding band last month for my up coming wedding. I started wearing it three days ago in my wedding day. sadly the bottom yellow cold color has begun to fade to the white gold color. I’m going to return it before the entire ring becomes all white gold in color which is not what I purchased. I didn’t scrape the ring only normal hand washing. sadly this is the ring placed in my hand and now I’ll have to get another ring.
