P3 Tiny (Intel) Home use

Unit arrived quickly and was setup and working within the hour. Used for general computing and net searching. Lots of USB ports and Video. Plenty of storage on C drive. Small footprint that was used to replace a Lenovo tower unit. Plenty of different configuration options, I went with the turnkey model offered with no changes and I'm happy with how it works. I would recommend P3 Tiny.

Size of a book with a comically large power brick

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Honestly, I'm still blown away by how much power Lenovo crammed into the ThinkStation P3 Tiny. This thing is seriously small about the size of a book so it completely disappeared on my desk, but it punches way above its weight class. I was able to throw some pretty demanding projects at it, and the powerful processor inside handled everything without breaking a sweat. It feels incredibly well-built, and connecting my monitors and gadgets was easy thanks to the solid port selection. My only real gripes are the power brick, which is almost comically large compared to the PC itself, and the fact that you'll definitely hear the fans kick in when you're pushing it hard. But for a professional-grade computer that saves a massive amount of space, I think it's an awesome little machine.

IMPORTANT: information not shared in specs

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The technical specs show that the ThinkStation P3 includes an HDMI port and A DVI port. However, that's not entirely true as those are only connected to the system board as backups and not connected to the GPU. Point the 4 mini DVI ports are connected to the GPU. Furthermore, if you use either the HDMI or DVI port at the same time as the mini DVI port it fails to load the PC and could break it. This is essential information that should be shared in the specs and save you the time and hassle buy just letting you buy the mini DVI cables in advance or better yet include them in the purchase. Otherwise, the machines are solid workstations and no complaints.

Performance Good, Fan Noise Noted

I appreciate the overall performance of the ThinkStation P3 Titanium. However, I’ve noticed that the fan can be quite loud under load, especially during video editing or rendering tasks. Could you please advise if there are any recommended settings, firmware updates, or hardware adjustments to reduce noise? I’m also curious if future BIOS updates might include improved fan-curves or silent mode options. I hope so. Overall, I’m satisfied with the workstation’s capabilities, but enhancing the acoustic performance would make a big difference for usability in shared or quiet environments.

Tiny workhorse

Been working with it for a couple weeks now. Setup was easy and has plenty ports for all my peripherals. The fan runs quite often and is a little loud but doesn't seem to slow it down.
