gets hot when microwaved

I purchased this solely because the web says porcelain will not heat up in the microwave. I wanted something that would heat up the contents of the bowl but not bowl itself. Tested my new bowl today with soup, the bowl got very hot. So, i'm not happy with the product but will keep them since wife likes the pattern.

Favorite bowls

These are great all purpose bowls. We use them for cereal, fruit, soup, ramen, pasta, salad, and more. They are sturdy and cheery.
