Did not last!

While this is a beautiful appliance and I have enjoyed using it, it didn’t even last 2 years! It no longer heats anything.

THE CONTROLS ARE NOT ILLUMINATED!!!

We were really disappointed with one specific problem that became immediately obvious the first day after installing this microwave. THE CONTROLS ARE NOT ILLUMINATED!!! This is not a problem when all the kitchen lights are turned on, but we find it extremely difficult to see the control panel buttons when the kitchen is only partially illuminated. Other than that problem, the microwave works very well. It's just hard to make the microwave work correctly when you cannot see the controls. Users have submitted many pictures of their installed microwaves. In none of those pictures can you see the controls that are located on the front of the microwaves. I would not buy this microwave again, nor would I recommend this microwave. We are very disappointed and we are considering return of this microwave.

However, it sounds like the non-illuminated control panel is creating an unexpected challenge, especially when your kitchen lighting is low. Micro wave

I have had my air fryer micro wave a little over a year. I have never got the air fryer to work correctly and the bottom of my door has melted!!!! It's a over the stove microwave!! I am sooooo unhappy I will NEVER buy a LG anything any more!

Made for tall people

Sadly, this product has been designed for extra tall people. The window is too high (the selection keys are at eye level (?) instead of on the side, the light is not bright at all and only on the left hand side. I am 173 cm (which is average tall for a woman), and it was installed as per North America standard height, and I can't see anything in the lower half. I would not purchase this product again, nor recommend it for anyone shorter than me! It is dangerous to use when you cannot see what is cooking.

FIRE HAZARD

I haven't had the microwave very long, but I put a potatoe in it and pushed the potatoe button and then went to my computer to work for a minute. My house was filled with smoke and the fire alarms going off and luckily my wife noticed that the potatoe was on fire inside the microwave and stopped it. It broke the microwave (wont turn on anymore) so it no longer works but could have been a much worse situation.
