I got the little tikes story time projector for my daughter for Christmas. She has used the toy only a handful of times and it’s already not working. The projector color-changer keeps flashing red and will not run the stories. I have made sure the pieces are put in correctly. No matter what I have tried, the stories will not play. Very disappointed in this toy. And my 4-year old was so excited for it.

Please try replacing the batteries with a fresh set of either Energizer or Duracell, as we have found that other brands may not be powerful enough to operate the product successfully. Out of sync stories
Got the one that comes with Dr.Seuss stories along with a pack of Elmo stories and only one cartridge syncs up to the story correctly. Looked this up and found that many people have this issue, very disappointing

We are sorry to hear of your experience. Please try replacing the batteries with brand new Duracell or Energizer Batteries, we have found that these brands work best with the machine.

We purchased this machine for our two year old for Christmas, this year. The focus between pages is inconsistent. You have to manually adjust the focus for every frame. If you look at my photos - you will see three consecutive frames demonstrating the focus issue. I have not adjusted the lens focus between framesa and the device is on a solid platform. The audio quality isn't great, and there is no chance that my two year old would be able to remove a cartridge from this machine. It would probably require the strength of a 4 year old. You are better off just reading a book for your child.

The image is blurry with every page. One page can be clear and the next one is blurry. It’s infuriating to have to fix it with every page, on a stable flat surface. The books are poorly written and the narration is so fake. It’s hard to enjoy the images because they are so blurry. There is a horrible grinding noise to rewind each book and between each slide. Don’t fall for the hype. This toy is useless because of how poor quality it is.

Terrible product
My granddaughter used this twice, I even stored it in the case I had to order separately. It just doesn’t work right the 3rd time she used it! The picture fades in and out and stops working all together in the middle of the story! I never kept the batteries in when not in use and always used fresh ones. This is an expensive piece of you know what!!

Loved at first
My toddler absolutely loved this product until the sound and the pictures no longer matched after googling and trying to fix it nothing has worked google suggested switching the batteries after my husband went to replace the batteries the screw won’t stay put in the dream machine we loved this and now have a super disappointed toddler

Great story telling, poor quality.
Projector works for a while until continued use degrades the light. Especially when the sound makes the light flicker. And it flickers so much that the light even turns off completely.

Blurry
We received this product for Christmas, my kids love it but the story images are so blurry. I understand you can adjust the focus but it is never perfectly clear, one side is always blurry and the next slides are blurry and you have to constantly adjust it. Maybe we got a bad product but pretty disappointing.
