Beware of poor quality, chipping and breaking on 3rd wash
I have had this brush for a year, but used it probably 3 or 4 times since i have many other brushes and didn't reach for this often. I wash my brushes with the mac brush cleanser, and always dry them upside down, and I use brush stands to hold them in that position while drying. That being said, i washed and dried this brush with a lot of care, and only probably 3 times since purchase since it was mostly left unused and clean in a protective case. However, i washed it yesterday and today while putting it away, i saw it splintering, chipping and breaking away on its own. This brush is almost as new, there is no justifiable reason for this happening. I am appalled at this, and worried since i have purchased another brush from MAC last week. I had no idea mac brushes had such poor quality, and i will never purchase another one from here. I loved there makeup for years, and i am a gold loyalty member, but this was a shock for me from MAC.

Good Powder Brush
I have the 127S and 128S and find them quite different. The 127S has more length and flexibility with its less dense bristles. Definitely best with powder products. It feels like I'm brushing a feather over my skin. It applies and blends my powder blush and bronzer beautifully. I tried it with liquid foundation and cream blush and it blended everything nicely, but gives a very sheer application. It's harder to control creams and liquids with the 127S compared to the shorter, denser 128S. I don't mind having both but if you're happy with the powder brushes you have, I'd skip the 127S.

Smart brush (2 colors - lighter and darker)
Love this brush - one side is lighter and the other darker which is very smart - it can be used with different shades of blush. Bristles stay in (good quality).

Worth it
I tried buying other brushes because didn't want to pay the MAC $. The other brushes would leave hairs all over my face and didn't pick up the powder to my face. MAC brushes are worth it and last!

Perfect for Blush!
This is perfect for applying blush, it applies the blush softly and evenly. I have been trying to replace my old, worn out blush brushes. I ordered the cheek brush which is similar but it was denser and stiffer because the fibers are shorter. This brush is much appropriate for cheeks.

Brushless
I really liked this brush but unfortunately I found it to be very cheaply made. I washed it with Mac brush cleaner which removed remaining make up on brush, however using the brush after cleaning was awful! May face had nothing but hair bristles all over it!! It is so bad I can no longer use the brush. Highly disappointed, I thought Mac claimed their brushes were well made and didn't shed - maybe, as long as you don't clean it!!!!

Awesome contour brush!!
I bought this based on the recommendation of the MAC artist when I got my Studio Fix Sculpt & Shape palette. I actually had a different brush in mind, but the artist suggested this one based on my face shape and bone structure. She was definitely right on!! I've never in all the years I've been doing makeup, had a contour brush work this perfectly. Gave me just the right amount of chisel, without overdoing it. Very easy to blend and this is one of the softest face brushes I've used. I highly recommend this brush.
