I purchased this brush hoping it would be perfect for travel. The 228 side of the brush is awesome very soft, what you would expect from M.A.C. The 226 portion of the brush is a little disappointing. I was expecting it to be as soft as the 224 but it is not, quite scratchy (my lids are sensitive). I can't see myself using this to blend. Maybe to deposit color but I would go in with the MAC 224 and finish the job. It's so cute I want to keep it but I'm contemplating returning this brush and purchasing the 228.

Horrible!

I absolutely regret buying this brush. The 226 side is the hard and scratchy! Not worth it at all.

Zero rating if I could.

I use to own the 228 and it was so soft and precise. I was really excited for this but it is just awful. Both ends are hard and feels scratchy on the eyes. People seem to be giving it a good review, maybe I got a bad batch one but I would not waste my money on this.

Awesome brush , very vers

Awesome brush , very versatile , the 226 tapered brush is a perfect fit for the crease, this brush works wonders in small eyes maybe for big eyes something bigger and fluffier would be better

Awesome Duo Brush

I had to get this with the LE collection and I ordered it online as soon as I received the shipment I played with it and I love it I ended up getting 2 more , the 226 side is great for the crease area it's fluffy to blend blend blend not as fluffy as the 224 but I do love the tapered end of this and the 228 side is the perfect size for under the brow bone and also small enough for smudging and creating a smokey eye !

Almost perfect.

I've been wanting to get my hands on the 226 brush since it's re-release years ago, but I settled with this brush because I was actually wanting to try the 228 as well. It's not that the dual-ness of the brush is awkward to use, but the 226 could have been paired better with a blending brush (217 or 224) or a better detail brush, such as the 219. But for my eye shape, the 228 is quite small. I actually get a better result for detail work using a 221 or 219.So, that is why I rated it a 4/5, because the 228 is a complete miss for me. Also, with the quads released with this collection, a blending brush and the 226 would have fit.
