glitter everywhere

The top and the matching pants are absolutely adorable. The problem is when I opened the bag, glitter, and I mean a shower of glitter went everywhere. I was thinking I would have to get the pants hemmed, but I wouldn’t be able to take it into an alterations place in good conscience because of the large amount of glitter that gets everywhere. I don’t know where they went wrong with this. I purchased lurex outfits before and never had this issue.
