It is gorgeous no doubt but we have had issues starting from day 1. We received defective furniture and it had to be sent back before it was even delivered. Fast forward two years later, the part that has the Prop 65 warning (sawdust) is exposed on this dresser that is rarely used. Run....it will draw you in as it is so good looking but the quality is actually dangerous for your health. Also a nightstand dresser top drawer now will not close.
Beautiful set!
The Matteo storage platform bedroom set is beautiful! The furniture is a great quality and the color is perfect. We were looking for a darker set and spotted this online. Our home has dark trim and this looks so amazing in our bedroom. We also love all of the storage in the bed. Another great thing about the bed is that you can slide short storage tubs under the bed as well. The delivery was also awesome. The delivery men were extremely careful and did an amazing job. We are so happy with our furniture purchase from Macy's and would definitely recommend this set.
Excellent Product/Great Delivery &Setup
We just purchased this bedroom set plus the tall chest that goes with it. Excellent quality. The delivery team called 10 minutes before delivery, arrived on time and did an outstanding job with setup. They were friendly and efficient. Good job!!
Great Storage
Purchased the king size platform bed w/ mattress, dresser w/ mirror and nightstand. Plenty of storage in the drawers and still enough room underneath for storage containers. The delivery men were able to move all of the items in and set them up without scratching anything. Great product and delivery!
Bedroom set arrived today
I purchased the full bed, tall dresser and two night stands for my spare bedroom. The gentleman that delivered were prompt and set up the furniture promptly. The furniture looks fantastic. I went from light colored oak furniture to this darker Matteo set. I love it! It looks great and the quality is nice.
Beautiful Bedroom Set
I bought this set and am delighted with it. The pieces are finished in a beautiful dark lustrous cherry. The quality is obvious from the outside but especially so when you open the drawers. Even the hidden parts are real wood. The drawers slide smoothly and firmly on metal rails and have fabric lined drawers in the top drawers for jewelry and the like. The Headboard, sideboards and footboards on the bed are heavy. The support boards underneath have bracing legs in the middle to make the bed very solid. The entire set--bedframe, vanity, highboy and nightstand--give the immediate impression of a very substantial heirloom quality set. I am delighted and extremely satisfied with my purchase.
Love this Bedroom set!
I looked for a new bedroom set for 7 years. Did not want to pay Pottery Barn or Amish furniture prices. This Set was just as good an at half the price. So happy with the purchase! The extra storage is Wonderful! I highly recommend this set!
High Quality Furniture. Beautiful and Sturdy.
This furniture is made very well. It is all solid wood and the drawers slide out and in very easily. The under bed storage is great and shopping around proved how difficult it was to find a good quality storage bed for under 2000 let alone an entire bedroom set.
