Thin inner leather

The leather ripped on the inside when I was putting my foot in on the third wear! Definitely not the quality Frye used to be.

Not as wide as I had hoped

I have very wide feet and high arches so I'm an outlier. I was pleased that my arch/volume fit in the boots with some struggle, but I was hoping that they would be a bit roomier (in volume and width). The material seems to be good quality and I like that they are welted and so could possibly be re-soled when needed. I will try to break them in a bit and see how it goes. I may end up donating them if they simply don't fit as they were final sale and can't be returned. Overall quality shoes, just not the right last for my weird feet.

Run Big

I love the craftsmanship of Frye boots. This is my 3 pair. However, the sizing is always a bit tricky. I recommend you try them first or buy at the store before ordering online.

Stylish and comfortable boots.

Overall, I’m loving these boots. They are stylish and comfortable. I’m still in the breaking in phase, as the leather is a bit stiff. I’ll love them even more once they are broken in. They fit perfectly with the laces tight.
