It all started at a party in the Bronx in 1973. Clive better known as DJ Kool Herc used two turntables playing only breakbeats during his sister Cindy's back-to-school party. Inspired by Herc, a community of MCs, dancers, artists and musicians came together throughout the 80s, and hip-hop as we know it was created.
