Pretty to look at, but not practical for use

Beautiful aesthetically but poor on usage. I found the salt to completely stick to the inside and holes and the pepper, while mobile inside, was also stuck in the holes. This is a very beautiful piece and works nicely with the other Aram Orchid set, but in terms of usage and practicality, it's a waste of money. It's best as a decorative piece, but if that's the case, the price should be a bit lower.

Beautiful!

I love Michael Aram's things! I did not know Macy's had them and did not know they would be on sale! I do not have any, mainly because most stores will not put them on sale! They are so special to me with their thread of nature running through them all! They are so special as gifts, which this one was a 1st anniv gift, of many to follow for my daughter and her husband! On day, will buy something for me!

This is one of many luxury pieces created by an great artist Michael Aram , actually I’m collecting pieces from the Black Orchid line . I really enjoy it not just to collect , but actually using it.

Beautiful, elegant n durable I personally don’t use it as every day salt/paper shaker n it is mostly for decorative purposes

Beautiful presentation and perfect for the table. Easy to pour from both salt and pepper. I would definitely recommend this item because of the lovely artwork and also the ease of use.
