Very drinkable

I bought this around Halloween. Had it ready by Thanksgiving. It reminds me of the local microbrew amber ales. My only ding on it (and this may be my fault), was the alcohol level seems a little low. I think if I brew this again, I may add a booster pack during brewing. Also I think I'd cut back on the sugar for carbonation. Mine came out a little foamy.

One of my favorite flavors.

Great to start with, with the booster even better. Smooth with little after taste.

Used it in a recipe for a modified Witches Flight

Used only half the amount of recommended Falconers Flight hops but boiled it in the wort at the end without using a hop sac. Came out tasting similar to Great Lakes Nosferatu but smoother and less hoppy.

That voodoo that you do

Really simple to use, great recipe for this craft refill. Only my 3rd batch and actually just bottled 2 weeks ago. Tried sample before bottling- it was fantastic! Very strong & great taste. FG was 1.010. I can't wait to try conditioned one in another 3-4 weeks, as recommended for this strong brew.

First brew success!!!

My son bought me the complete kit as a Christmas gift. I always wanted to try Brewing my own beer and the mr. Beer complete Bewitched Amber ale kit was the way to go! I followed the instructions to the letter let the beer ferment for 3 weeks in the keg. I bottle all the beer and let it condition for 2 weeks. I couldn't wait any longer to taste what I had made. After two weeks the beer was delicious. Notes of molasses and cocoa with a kick. The bottles that I have left I'm going to let condition for a while longer and I'm sure they'll only get better. Thank you mr. Beer for making Homebrew so easy!

It's Okay; +True, Color is Great

My personal palate preference is probably more on the "hoppy" side of the scale, but was interested in trying this variety that described its deep amber color and balanced flavor profile. The flavor was reasonably rich, though I thought it went more in the malty direction. Good thick head and good lingering carbonation. Didn't pick up much aroma. Definitely a nice deep amber color, though. Which I suppose was its one truly outstanding characteristic. Giving this one a personal grading, overall, of B.

Crowd Pleaser

This Craft Refill was my first brew and it is still regarded as the best tasting brew to date. Everybody that tasted it likes it, including those who normally don't choose beer. I did put a Pale LME Pouch in this brew and fermented for 3 weeks then bottled and waited 8-10 weeks. It took a while for the brew to condition, but well worth it. this is on my "Brew Again" list.

Great tasting brew

Went down well when I opened the first bottle. Should mellow with time. Will try again in a couple of weeks.
