myars leather sofa and chair
We bought this Myars sofa and matching chair along with another sofa and love seat from another manufacture from macys same day, total spent was over $5000.00. This Myars couch and chair were uncomfortable from the day they were delivered. I called macys to let them know that the arms had wood poking against the thin padding and leather jabbing anyone who sat by either arm of couch or chair causing bruises to ribs- no kidding! took a couple weeks but they sent out two different people to look at them. the woman came in and right away said ( exact words) i knew it was these pieces they should have stopped carrying this furniture years ago there's so many complaints. Macys returned a portion of our money and cancelled any further warranty we paid for on these pieces. Now for the white glove delivery (embarrassing) the truck was filthy with cracked fender broken light were talking months of dirt not days and walked right into house without shoe protection didn't see white gloves anywhere.
Lack of Quality
Poor quality sofa. The top layer of the leather came off, simply because we sat on it. Buyer beware!
Cognac color is dark brown
The couch is nice and comfortable. However, the cognac color I received is dark brown, not the color pictured on Macy's website and not the color at the store. I feel kind is gaslighted, because the store blamed the color difference on the store lighting, and I feel like Macy's had pictures in darker color around the time my couch was delivered and now has changed it to the correct color. This is crazy.
Beautiful and comfy
This sofa is big and cushy with a deep seat. The cognac leather is gorgeous, rich and soft. My only comply is that I wish the wood framework in the arms was more heavily padded. In certain positions you can feel the b Framework by the arm . That being said, I love this couch and would by it again. Perfect couch for Netflix marathons and an afternoon nap!
