Itchy and Looks Cheap

I gave this two stars instead of one because the picture color and style are accurate. In looks only, and perhaps from rather far away, it is a pretty and trendy dress. However, the dress in reality is quite awful. The worst offense is how uncomfortable it feels--the mesh is stiff and itchy, not soft stretchy netting as I had assumed. It is also very unflattering. The lace is also stiff so the ruffles don't quite look or fall right on the body. It also feels cheap: the lining, the stiff outer fabric, and the cut of the dress felt so pedestrian (and truly, worse than what most fast fashion stores sell for fifteen dollars) i was honestly astounded at the price. Part of the lack of flattering fit may be due to be me being a bigger size but also shorter than average, I really would've needed this cut in a petite, but that doesn't change the workmanship or me feeling I needed to take it off immediately due to the materials. Needless to say, this was a return.
