Fit it Wrong

I bought this shirt and had to return it. I bought a large it fit more like to medium to small. Totally unwearable. Hugely disappointing.

Bought as a gift for my husband. We both thought it ran extremely small (came in "Classic Cut") He assumed it was a "slim". I ordered the XXL Classic Cut which is his normal size, but had to return.
