Not the same Sunray sandal

My son is Autistic and won’t wear any other shoes, I ordered the new ones in the hopes that he would still wear them. The unfortunate thing is that they are much bigger than he is used too and he won’t put them on.

Not a fan of the new design.

We loved the Sunray 4 for my son. I ordered him some new ones and he will NOT wear these new ones because of the texture on the bottom of his foot. He says it “hurts to bad” he’s by no means tender footed and I know I wouldn’t like walking on that texture all day either. Also not a fan of the thick leather type material on the top. I like the sunray 4’s because they are light weight, cool and dry fast.

Old Design Was WAY better!

I agree with all the other reviews. I have bought my kids these sandals for the past 6 years and always LOVED them. The updated design is HORRIBLE! A hard uncomfortable plastic that cuts into their feet and the soles are hard and uncomfortable as well. Also the sizing is different. My kids outgrew their last size in the old design and I bought them the next size up in these and they are huge. Nike, please bring back the old design!

Harder plastic cuts into feet. Much prefer older softer style.

I have bought these sandals for my son every year since he was a baby. They have never ever cut into his feet until this year with the more plastic style. We absolutely loved the softer style and will keep buying this sandal if the softer version comes back, otherwise I’ll be finding another sandal for him.

Please bring back the old design!!!

Definitely a downgrade from last year's Sunray, please bring the nice fabric ones back, not liking this plastic version. The style was perfect, the comfort was perfect and more importantly, these are used as water shoes, the grip was perfect unlike the grip on this new design!
