It lasted through one big storm with winds of 25-30mph. I was pretty impressed. And it provided shade my yard did not have. This would be cute for a backyard or patio. We have a lot of wind here, so we can't leave it up for very long. It will be set up in the backyard when we get into a house soon. Would be cute for backyard events or events in general.

Sturdy, Instructions could use some work
The instruction booklet is vague. It seems some parts were skipped. My Husband and I put this up in about 35-40 minutes. It wasn't the easiest to put together, but once we were done, it looked nice. Then the wind came and we took it right back down. We live at a campground as maintenance/camp hosts. I wouldn't recommend this to take camping. It's very large and quite a bit of work just to take down to go back home after a day or two.

Makes you smile....
This fabulous "pink pagoda" certainly brightens the yard and gives wonderful shade. Yes, you have to put it together. No, it isn't hard if you take your time. All the pieces are provided along with all the nuts and bolts and, surprisingly, all the pre-drilled holes lined up with no problems. It took me about 3 hours to assemble it by myself. I did get help adding the leg extensions at the end (one person to hold the leg up whilst the other screwed on the extension). They do show the roof section fully assembled before attaching to the base section and I did that slightly differently by connecting two of the roof ribs to get the full span and then attaching the span to the base. Then, simply added in the rest of the ribs. Waiting to extend the legs to the end makes it much easier to attach the roof ribs and roof shade cloth because you can reach everything with only a step ladder. Now that it's set up, it's surprisingly sturdy even without being staked (the ground stakes are a joke, btw, so don't count on them!)I did have about 5 stitches pop looses on one corner of the up bit of the sunshade but, over all, it's nicely constructed and it definitely brightens one's day!Highly recommend for creating an instant (well, almost instant) oasis!
