Sand or rock crumbles in lamp

We really liked these lamps but when received one of them had a lot of sand or rock coming out of it and was very dusty. We tried to shake it out but were not successful in getting it out. Something about the storage and or shipping process is off.

Super nice lamps at a great price!

Very nice lamps. They are heavy enough and very attractive. Perfect size for the nightstands by my tall bed. The finish has a slight sheen to it that makes them look high-end.
