Beautiful But Beware

Have had these dishes for about 2 years now. I love them. They are beautiful. However, not nearly as durable as I’m accustomed to for Pfaltzgraff. A few days ago, we dished out enchiladas from the oven. They had cooled, but were still hot. As I was eating, heard a pop. The plate just cracked out of nowhere. That’s the second time it’s happened with one of the plates. The bowl rims also chip pretty easily- much more easily than expected for any dishes, particularly Pfaltzgraff. So, ultimately, gorgeous but handle with particular care.

Love the pattern but one broke

I love the pattern and dishes but one salad plate cracked in half and broke and I had only had them a few months at most. I wish you could buy single replacements.

Nothing like the photos more

Nothing like the photos more if a gray blue and flowers on plates were dull. Purchased 2 sets and returned them. Disappointed that the company dies not partner with a shipping company to help customers with cost to ship back items.

Best of both worlds

We've always loved Pfaltzgraff stoneware for their durability and style. This set is no different. They're so pretty, clean easily and they don't get hot in the microwave like most other dishes do.

Lovely dish-ware

I love this set. It looks hand-painted. The colors and composition are great. Nice to have this quality in dishwasher/microwave-safe dish-ware. They are heavier than I’d hoped, but I expect I can still use them for 10-20 more years.

Pfaltzgraff Sawyer 16 Piece Dinnerware Set.

Love the colors and the weight. Plates are smaller than other sets. One bowl was a little lighter in color. Arrived in good condition. Will get another set.

Hairline crack

I've discovered that these dishes are not as durable as the phaltzgraff that I'm used to. Hairline cracks are appearing.:-(
