I have struggled in the past couple of years to order a Cal-King mattress protector online. The site continuosly presented me with a variety of thick mattress pads. It's terribly confusing. However, David in the Macy"s home department was my Angel in Disguise and came to my rescue!!! He spent at least 20 minutes searching online for just the right mattress protector that fit my budget and one that was not as thick as a mattress pad. It just arrived yesterday. I washed it in warm water on the waterproof cycle and it left a lot of water. I washed it again in a regular cycle hoping the spin cycle would get all the extra water out. There was still water dripping after it was done. But I put it in the dryer with a large towel to soak up the excess water. I set it on tumble dry low. It came out great and it fits like a glove on my Cal-King mattress. Again, THANK YOU DAVID in the Macy's Home Dept. at the Vintage Fair Mall in Modesto, CA. You went out of your way and I am so appreciative!!!!

The description is misleading. It is definitely not whisper quiet. This mattress protector sounds like a plastic tarp and it's hard to sleep on it because of the noise.

I’ve been needing a mattress protector so this couldn’t have come at a better time! It was really easy to put on, the fit was perfect and it’s so smooth! It just adds an extra layer of protection and comfort without being noisy or making any rustling noises. 10/10 would recommend!

Such a great mattress protector! Water doesn’t go through at all it’s amazing! It doesn’t make a lot of noise which is a plus! It fits great on my mattress!

This was soft and not plastic, feeling like the bed liners our parents had for us and themselves. Bet anything the washing alone is easy. Feels like soft cotton poly blend. There isn't a weird plastic moving sound when you're moving around on the bed either. Super absorbant.
