Looks Cheap!

I'm very disappointed in this dress. I buy a lot of Rare Editions dresses for my granddaughter and neice, and they are usually beautifully made from quality fabrics. The fabric of this dress looks like the cheapest polyester taffeta (which is usually a lining fabric) , and the lace applique on the bodice seems like an afterthought. It's too bad, because I found the perfect red dress by RE last year...in fact, they are selling the exacta dress again this year. (It's the red brocade with cap sleeves and a rhinestone trim on the waist.) My search begins again, but I really don't see anything else in red by Rare Editions that I like at Macy's. Once again, I'm begging Rare Editions to make more dresses with cap or puff sleeves vs sleeveless- it's just so much more classic and appropriate for toddlers and little girls. S
