Such a disappointment
I had this exact couch for many years. We bought our first one in October of 2019. We absolutely LOVED it! It was the MOST comfortable couch I had ever sat on. We had a house fire and the first thing I wanted to make sure we replaced was our favorite couch! I purchased the second one in May of 2025 and it looks the same, but is so uncomfortable! The cushions are extremely hard. The frame is squeaky and already sagging in areas. I cannot even explain how broken hearted we are! The quality has declined incredibly. I wish we would have known. I definitely never would have invested in this terrible piece of furniture for a second time.

Horrible! Worst sofa ever. After mere months the cushions were completely worn out. No firmness whatsoever. You sink in…to the slats! It’s embarrassing when company comes over and sits down and sinks to the bottom…even more embarrassing when they need help getting back up! Perhaps the most embarrassing part is when they then ask where we got it, and we have to say Macy’s. Wish we could return it!

The most uncomfortable couch. Saved up to buy this couch and I regret 100%. Thought we’d live on it. Can’t watch movies or sit on long. For sure can not sleep on it. Most uncomfortable couch to lay on. I wish I could send it back!!!
THIS COUCH SHOULD BE RECALLED
DO NOT BUY THIS. This couch is known to have major issues. I have had for 11 months and I have gone through multiple inspections because the frame is cheap and broken and the pieces do not line up. The middle of the couch you cannot sit on anymore because it sinks and your spine has 0 support. It’s useless. I was told the models in the store were PRE Covid and were made out of better foam and material in the US. Now it’s out of country. The Macys manufacturer insurance is a joke because they send out 3rd party people who have no idea about specifics on Macys couches. They ripped open my back to check the springs. I looked inside while they stepped outside. The wood pieces are thin plywood with green spray painted on them. They will NOT accept a return or replacement unless 30 days after purchase. I bought the Worry Free insurance and it is a scam. Do not let the sales people trick you into it. Couch foam integrity is NOT covered through this. I am very dissatisfied with Macys.

I’m obsessed with this couch! I did a lot of research before choosing it and I was torn between the Radley and the Rhyder. I'm so happy that I went with the Rhyder! The Parallel Stone Beige is a beautiful light beige color that fits perfectly in my space. I don't feel like the online photos show the color as clearly. The fabric has a soft, corduroy-like texture with fine lines—very stylish and cozy. Cushions are deep and firm yet super comfortable, and the size is perfect for hosting. I don't understand any of the reviews that said this couch is uncomfortable. Maybe if you are not a fan of deep seats. I searched endlessly for the perfect couch and I am content finding one that my entire family likes and can fit on with room to spare! If you’re considering it, don’t hesitate—just go for it! :)
Comfort and Beauty all in one Large Sectional
We went into our local Macy's furniture store this past FALL and a Labor day sale was taking place with discounts close to 40% off regular retail. We came in with the intention of purchasing the Radley 5 piece sectional with a large coffee table. I was concerned the sale price was not the best deal available, so we comfort tested multiple sectionals. I came across the Rhyder 5 piece sectional while my family was lounging on the Radley. After interrupting the family discussion regarding the color choices available, I told my wife that she has to sit and compare the Rhyder versus the Radley sectionals. The comfort level was quite different and we realized the Rhyder sectional has a "down pillow sectional" feel versus the Radley sectional which is beautiful but less comfortable. The Rhyder is a beautiful and more comfortable option, so order quickly when it is on sale. You will be happy!
Suuuuuch a COMFY couch!!!
I've owned my couch for almost 6 years now and it is DURABLE! I have a golden retriever, two cats and a husband. The dog and hubby rough house on this poor couch daily and it takes a beating for sure and it still looks awesome. I absolutely love that every cushion unzips so the couch is completely washable. Resilient to stains.. I even had someone throw up on my couch in the middle of the night, looking like an exorcism, and it all washed out and looked back to normal. My jaw dropped, I thought I was going to have to bill the moron for ruining my couch! He got very lucky I paid for quality... because this couch is definitely worth it's price. Customer service was great and easy to. I only called them once while it was getting delivered and they resolved it no hassle. This couch is also SO DANG COMFORTABLE!!! 5 adults can comfortably lounge on it with elbow room.

DONT IGNORE THE ONE STAR RATINGS
Just like every other truthful review, this furniture is a waist of money.... POOR QUALITY, CHEEP MATERIALS, CRAPPY CONSTRUCTION. The first time I washed the cushion covers, it was over. Nearly every seem came apart because the fabric unraveled to the point there were several yarn size balls of the tangled fabric. The seat cushions flatten out and there's no fluffing or flipping that will help. Macy's should be embarrassed. I work too hard for my money for this!
