If you want comfortable public service shoes, get the Rocky Alpha Force work shoe. It's made with the extremely comfortable Air-Port footbed that provides cushioning and support. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming-out features. Some open-celled foams feel very comfortable to the initial touch, but tend to break down faster than a product made with polyurethane. Plus, it is extra thick in the heel contact area. This provides additional underfoot comfort to the wearer. These oxfords also have a non-metallic stabilizer and a RigiTrac outsole provides traction and resists oils and slips. The shoes are made of full-grain black leather that's water resistant and lightweight, black 1000-Denier nylon that resists scuffs and abrasions..

This is my third pair of these shoes. Absolutely my favorite. Great fit and very comfortable

Wore quickly.

I bought these early summer of 2019. Wore them all summer and fall. Winter came around I switched to boots. 2020 I wore them again spring, summer, fall However by the end of the summer they were extremely worn. Leather on top felt like gym shoes, insoles were torn to shreds and my heels and toes destroyed the inside. You could cast the shape of my feet in the shoe. The boots are great last me almost two years before these occur.

1st Pair was awesome, 2nd pair failed me...

Have been an avid Rocky Footwear user for over 20 years in the Fire Service. Purchased my first pair of these shoes approx. 5 years ago when i moved into admin and absolutely loved these shoes! they wore like iron and maintained thier shape and support for well over 2 years. Purchased a second pair when the first pair finally wore out and was totally disapointed. The second pair of shoes had much softer uppers that stretched out, the inner liner ripped and seperated and the soles wore down all within 6 months of taking them out of the box. the second pair was used day to day (8-5) in an office/fire station setting only. Not sure if i got a extraordinary pair the first time around or a lousy pair the second time around... So many of thier boots are fantastic products... just not sure that i'd go with these shoes again. Pretty expensive pair of shoes for 5-6 months of wear.

Nice work boot

Rocky Oxford shoe

I bought this shoe in July of 2019, and I decided to wear them 3 days ago and notice that top part of the shoe has crack at the bend of the toe area with a white film like color. the quality of the leather on this shoe is not the same as the leather quality on the boots.

Great Comfort and looks

I bought these shoes about a month ago, and began wearing them the next day. These shoes are very comfortable and they really look great. I feel the stability and grip as I walk the halls. Tried 511 1/2 boot and they were comfortable, but lasted maybe 6 months before starting to tear
