The Rocky 9 BearClaw boots are great for hunting, but you may want to work in them, too. Regardless of where you wear them, the #FQ0009237 boots are durable, rugged and comfortable. These Rocky boots are made with full-grain leather and tough nylon. They have genuine Goodyear welt construction and a storm welt for durability, shape-retention and a solid platform for hours of wear. A breathable GORE-TEX fabric membrane keeps moisture out and keeps your feet dry. Rocky added 200 grams of 3M Thinsulate Insulation to the hunting boots to help keep your feet warm even on the coldest days. The lace-up system is a lace-to-toe pattern with eyelets, D-rings and hooks for maximum adjustment. When you're walking, your feet are comfortable because of Rocky's exclusive polyurethane cushioned Air-Port footbed which also is perforated for air circulation.

Eyes tore the boot strings

Bought 2 pair in the past 6 months both pair the eyes broke the shoe strings. Going thru a pair of boots strings every other day after wearing them for only 3 months

Quality boot

The Bear Claw is another quality boot that you expect from Rocky. Nice, all full grain leather with an aggressive tread. Perhaps overly aggressive. Appears to be a long lasting boot that will require little maintenance.

Good boot but not a hunt boot, heavy and stretch!!

I bought these for an Aoudad hunt and they stretched out very much even after i broke them in. Nothing but painful blisters rest of hunt. They are heavy duty but the leather was very scared up after the battle with all the cactus. These should be work boots not hunting boots.
