Heavy, not warm enough and water got in

Super heavy and not warm enough plus my feet got wet when I wore it in a rainy day. I tried to submit a return request but none of the reasons listed in the form meet my issue.

Poor Quality…Don’t Last.

Had these boots for 2 hunting seasons. First time Rocky purchase, too. I pulled them out of my hunting bin when the snow fell this hunting season. The rubber soles and the rubber behind the heels was dry rotted! DRY ROT!!! After just 2 seasons of use, which equates to about 20 hunts!? And they were stored properly, too! I didn’t even bother contacting Rocky because I’m sure they won’t stand behind a 2 year old boot. Pretty expensive lesson learned. I’ll have to check out what Lacrosse and other brands have to offer before going back to Rocky.

Warm and dry

These boots are awesome. They definitely keep your feet warm and dry. I could stand in the snow bank all day and my feet are totally dry. Just what I was looking for.

7481 Fall broke rib Lace hooks snag Slips on ice

I have fallen multiple times in them and broke a rib because of the following problems. 1) The speed lacing system hooks on the inner side. Can hook/snag the other side hooks causing a fall. I have pinched these hooks closed I have bent these hook in so they don’t protrude. Now they don’t snag, but can’t be used to lace the boots. I now wrap the laces around the boot to tie the lace. 2) This is what caused me to break my rib. The sole does not provide any grip on ice (not snow). I slipped on some hard ice. I fell and broke my rib on 2/2/2025.

I bought a pair 10 years ago probably, granted I only where them in the winter I am just now buying a new pair. Extremely comfortable, light weight, warm and waterproof. I absolutely love these boots
