Poor quality product, fan squeaks after warranty

Bought 2 of these Rowenta air purifiers about a year apart. Worked good for about a year. Then fan started to squeak on lowest, supposedly "quiet" setting. Seems to be failing. Only warrantied for 1 year. Very disappointed since I trusted Rowenta brand name. We have other fan products (air fans, heaters) where the fan is still running after even 10 years, no issues. This is a very simple product -fan pulling air through a filter. Should not fail so soon.
