Elegant china
When we started our registry, my fiancee and I were complete opposites in our choices. We finally decided he could choose the household items, I got to pick the china. I saw Royal Doulton Countess and that was it for me. It's so elegant and beautiful! I always receive compliments every time I use it. I will use it forever. By the way, I ultimately got rid of the fiancee but added to the china pattern.

I picked this set out when getting married 5 years ago and got a service for 4. Since then we have grown the place setting to a setting for 8. More beautiful than in the picture.
Really deserves a 5 star...Beautiful set
of days gone by in first class on a luxury ocean liner like the Queen Mary or the Titanic. I just visited the Queen Mary for an overnight stay with girlfriends. We viewed the Princess Diana exhibit on board and had high tea in the dining area nearby overlooking the water and Long beach views...quite lovely and so British. Of course I then had to have a English tea set afterwards. I looked through the Macys site and fell in love with this set. I ordered the 4 teacups, 4 saucers, a serving plate and the teapot. Well, all will be arriving this week from different locations and that if fine. I just received 3 beautiful bone china teacups today. However, I found out that the teapot is on order and I must wait 3 months for it. Good grief! I won't want tea in the summer months.(o_0) Anyway, I love the teacups, the patter/design/size is perfect. I will anticipate the rest in the next few days and hopefully the teapot will come in sooner but I doubt. A three month wait means the company is out of stock and cannot send the item to Macys. They have to make them (in the UK;) . Had I known of this wait I may not have ordered the set. I'm actually worried after a 3 month wait I will get a notice from Macy saying it is just not available...ugh. But I will just have to wait and see. Will update this post in June of this year. Have to give this a 3 star because of the 3 month wait and the possibility of not getting it at all and having a tea set without the centerpc...a teapot.
