Dream turned nightmare

We got it the first day and put it together. I was so excited that I steamed everyone’s clothes for the week. The next time I used it which was Saturday. it started shutting off on its own. I would check the tanks water level. It would be fine. I hit the off and on switch and it would start back up like normal. I woke up Sunday morning and it was on by itself and it was on the off switch. I hit the switch again it still would not turn off. I unplugged it and took it back to the store.
