Almost perfect

Overall very pleased. Three potential improvements: 1.) Although the default of 3 is usually fine for my needs, it should remember last settings used. 2.) There are no markings for which slot to use for single slice (if it doesn't matter, then say so) or bagel cut face orientation. Also no mention in the manual. 3.) Countdown is nice, but since the toaster ejects quietly a beep when the cycle is finished would provide an audible notification.
