Firm cushions, sturdy except for back legs. Back legs are a bit wobbly.

This chair is horrible it's like you're setting on a bench . I don't recommend this chair to anyone the company should do better.

This chair provides the exact support I need for my lumbar area. Seat cushion is firm. Chair back is straight. Seat height from floor to top of cushion is over 19 inches. I need those features. Chair construction and fabric are high end. I have had this chair one week and already my lower back pain has decreased considerably. I am a woman 5'7" tall with average weight. Have been in physical therapy several weeks for lower back issues. This chair is helping them immensely. Thank you Macy's

This chair is attractive to look at, however it is extremely uncomfortable to sit in. The seat is hard as a rock. It is strange that some people say this chair is comfortable. I also would say that the back needs to be higher. If you are average height or taller, you are unable to lean your head back unless you slouch in the chair.

Purchased two of the Beige Lace Print 18 months ago. The material on the seats has pilled like a sweater would. I called Macy's for replacement seats but the chairs are now out of warranty. The chairs are not used often, they are for a formal living room which we do not sit in often. Also the chairs are harder than a rock. I would not recommend these chairs to anyone looking for an every day comfortable chair.

I ordered the "Slate Blue" for my living room - the chairs are Aqua, not at all blue!! My sofa is Slate Blue/Blue Grey - Aqua does not fit at all! But it's too much hassle to return so I guess we will have to live with it. Maybe some throws and pillows will help offset the color. These online places should work to be more accurate with the color - I'm very disappointed. The chair itself is not bad though, but it ruins my whole scheme.

Really like the look of this chair online, but it wasn’t the most comfortable (fabric is a little too course for my taste). It does show well, though, and would recommend if your criteria is looks over comfort. Also we just received it so hard to say how long it will last, but my sense is it will be fine with regular use, but probably not more than 10 years.
