Beautiful Dresser

I love this dresser and it is holding its own in with a brand new Bassett bedroom set. The blue color is beautiful, it is heavy, was well packaged and came assembled. The only negative thing I have to offer is the delivery people dropped this giant box off in my house and wouldn't allow me to open it before they left. I didn't expect them to do anything, it was already assembled but imagine the hassle if I opened the giant, multi-layer box to find wrong item or damage. It might be worth giving customers a heads up on that because I was unpleasantly surprised.

Only fault with this is mine.

Beautiful well made furniture, the only issue is the navy blue color shows the dust! Not the furniture's fault. I bought the chest, two nightstands and bedframe.

Much darker color than picture in website depicts

Decent piece of furniture, but it's more of a navy blue than a coastal blue as depicted in the photos. When the lights are low, but the blinds are open, it appears to as charcoal grey. It has to be very bright in the room to discern any blue.

Bad quality of delivery

I noticed several issues with the item: multiple screw spaces are left open, either not screwed in or improperly installed. Additionally, there are black marks on the mirror. I did not expect this level of poor quality from Macy’s. I have photos of the problems, but there doesn’t seem to be an option to upload them here.

Worth the money!

After shopping locally for months I took a leap of faith and relied heavily on reviews to make this purchase. The dresser exceeded my expectations. It's huge and beautifully crafted. It's so solid that we needed furniture pads to slide it across both hardwood and carpet. The cedar drawers and felt lining add extra touches. I'm very pleased with this dresser and look forward to owning it for years to come because it's sturdy and well built.

Beautiful and sturdy

Lovely and sturdy piece of furniture. The gold handles are an elegant touch. It’s still new so I haven’t had any problems and I hope it stays that way. I’m very pleased with the purchase.
