Was needing a new filter after my last one wasn’t keeping the water as clean as I would like, and this one is great! The water in my pool was getting cloudy a lot even with added chemicals. As soon as we installed the filter, it had cleared up after running it for a few hours. Does a great job and have had no problems with it. We were having trouble keeping the water clear but since installing this filter, the pool has been sparkling! The flow is really nice and it’s super quiet which is an added bonus. The only problem is you can’t run it for more than 8 hours at a time, which can be a problem since some chemicals need to be continuously run for longer than that. It does have a good size strainer basket as well. Comes with everything you need except you will need to buy the sand.

it’s a good size and perfect for what it needs to do. i would definitely recommend this to others who have an above ground pool. haven’t been able to use it much because of the weather but we loved when we did get to use it!!

Excellent sand pump
This is very good sand pump. It's a great size and very powerful I never have to worry with buying and changing filters again. It has my looking amazing and makes the water crystal clear. It's very durable and very quite. It's easy to use also

The Pool-tastic addition
What can I say just I. Time! Out pool filter was ready to be replaced and our pool liner was torn from Hurricane Ian. Although not yet installed I know this is just what we needed. And my cousin who own a pool cleaning company had nothing but great things to say about it. Can’t wait to get it hooked up and back to swimming j. The Florida heat!

I'm so excited to share my experience with the HYDROTOOLS by Swimline 19" Sand Filter Combo w/ Stand, 4500 GPH, 175lb Capacity that I got for my pool. I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled with it! The best part was that it was super easy to set up, but to be honest, I did have a little help from my husband. Since I started using it, my pool water has been crystal clear, and it's so quiet! The pump is really powerful, and I love how easy it is to use the multi-port valve. The sand filter is also perfect for my pool size, and I don't have to backwash it too often. Plus, the stand is really sturdy and doesn't wobble at all. I noticed that the water flow output is strong and circulate into the skimmer easily.
