I'm in my 60s, fairly active, and in pretty good shape. I had been sleeping on a 20-year old mattress (NOT a Tempurpedic) and wondering why, for the past couple of years, I'd been waking up every morning in pain - so much pain that I had to stretch and move around for awhile before I was even comfortable enough to make my bed. Our old mattress was 28 yrs old and we need to replace it. This mattress checked all of the boxes, was firm yet soft and conformed to our bodies, but was not hot. Initially the mattress was too hard, but over time it has softened and feels more like to store model.
