I am a sophomore in high school and I read this book for my English research project. I enjoyed this book because it gave really good information about the Vikings origins, gods, goddesses, and their way of life. I really enjoyed the layout of the book. The book was very useful because it did not mix up all of the different information, instead it sectioned the information off. This made it easier to find information to answer certain questions. This book helped me answer many of the questions I was given, but not all. This book gives detailed and voluminous information about the Viking myths. It also gave good information on the way the Vikings lived in their homes. How the Vikings came to be was also well mentioned. The book also includes a glossary of some of the words the Vikings used. This was really helpful in understanding certain facts. The Vikings were an interesting group. They were great warriors and had a well developed civilization. I do recommend this book if you are interested in learning about the Vikings. For a research project I recommend this book to gather most of your information.
