First but Not my last

I purchased this using gift cards from family members at a local outdoor store in my area. They had one medium left and I wanted it badly. When I got it, I knew that I needed everyone in my family to own one. It is the absolute perfect coat for cold weather. I wore it in different types of winter storms and it was amazing. I didn't realize how awesome it would be. I have since purchased 2 more for my daughters... it is the best coat ever. It is a great travel jacket since you get the small inside lining that can be worn as a wind breaker. I wore this coat in New York, during winter/spring and it is amazing. Great fit. I loved it so much that this is now my brand of choice. I recently purchased the Ventrix summit L3 Hoodie... It is perfect as well and it is more light weight than my Boundary Triclimate but I am totally in love with both.

Love it

I really like this jacket. It's great to be able to use as a fleece as well as a rain jacket. The only down fall is the pink fuzzys do get on clothing but not too bad.

Exactly what I was looking for

I'm living in Scotland and this is perfect for cold, wet days. With the insert it is very warm and so far the jacket has done a good job keeping me dry. For best results the pieces need to be used together (I.e. optimal waterproof, wind proof, etc). Could be a bit more breathable, but it's good enough to not warrant that as a con for this jacket. Happy with my purchase and use it regularly.

My first The North Face jacket

This is my first ever The North Face jacket and I must say I am in love with the product. It is light, keeps me warm and dry. I take it everywhere I go on daily basis although I bought it for snowboarding (can't wait to hit the slopes!). I must say The North Face just got a new fan of the brand.

Great, but not waterproof

I bought this jacket for a trip to Iceland in June, and was really happy with it for most of the trip. Layering is key in Iceland, and this jacket offered perfect flexibility for changing weather conditions. It was great in high winds and kept me warm even when the temps dipped to 3 degrees C. I found out the hard way, though, that it is NOT waterproof. An hour into a hike under a steady drizzle, the sleeves had soaked through. I'd classify this as more "water resistant" than waterproof. It did fine in quick showers or mist from waterfalls, but that's it.

Fits well

I bought this for an Iceland trip, but taking it camping this weekend. It fits well (patagonia was too small around the hips).
