Love these brown boots for winter months on the Navajo Nation. I got size 5.5 (my usual shoes size) and they fit me like gloves. I wear these for weekend hiking to different national parks and monuments around the Four Corners area and absolutely love them!

A Little Problem with Flexing/Extending
I bought these pair of boots online. The reviews are correct, at least get a half to a full size up. It's warm and comfortable when I'm out shoveling snow. I didn't find it flexible enough to wear when driving in cold weather. I had the opportunity to fit a Shellista IV, strangely, the III still has a little more give when you flex/extend your foot, than the IV.

Solid boots for snowshoeing
Bought a pair in size 6 (my usual shoe size) for a snowshoeing trip and they were great. I was initially concerned about how my toes felt mildly compressed due to the rubber construct of the toe area, especially when worn with thick wool socks since I have wide feet. I tried a size 6.5 for comparison and the heel felt too loose so I kept the size 6 with hesitation. However, when I wore them and went snowshoeing, it performed well! The toe area was not an issue, my toes got only mildly cold, and overall felt comfortable throughout the hike. I suspect it's not roomy enough for me to fit toe warmers, but for 30 degrees Tahoe weather the boots were warm enough for me. I was also unsure whether the mid-calf coverage would be too much stiffness for hiking up hills, but it was not bothersome at all. The calves did get a little too warm at times which I resolved by layering less in the legs the next day.
