Good until they fell apart after my 5th day hike

I really liked these boots but the left boot ripped after only 5 hikes. I didn't put it through any excessive stress, I've never had another boot fail the same season I bought it.

Nice shoes but run small

Was very excited about these boots. They appeared rugged, lightweight, and have a decent sole. While I wear a 13 wide and ordered an appropriate size they were about a size snug on the length and felt like medium width. Very unfortunate.

Husband Loves Them!

I ordered his regular size for my husband, and he said they were perfect. He stated they are very comfortable, and he is hard to please in this area. I would recommend, as they serve their purpose and keep his feet perfectly dry.

Loved them until they quickly fell apart!

I too, had a pair of these that began to come apart at the seem on the side of the boot within just a few months. I had used them for light hiking while working at summer camp and then periodically walking around our school. I loved these while they lasted though. They were comfortable and felt stable on the trail. Didn't seem heavy. Great traction. Maybe they usually last and mine just had a defect? On the plus side, Timberland was fabulous about their warranty! I sent the damaged boots in and they gave me credit to order a new pair. I just ordered the Mt Maddison boots. Hoping they are more durable, and at least as comfortable as these were.
